When launching Icon Coatings, we made a deliberate decision to work exclusively with polyurea instead of epoxy. We knew we didn’t want to offer a product that might look good initially but fall short over time. Polyurea is up to 4x stronger than epoxy and provides a more durable, flexible, and long-term solution for our clients, especially in Florida’s heat and humidity. We also chose a polyaspartic topcoat due to it being UV-stable. This means it won’t yellow or fade over time like epoxy. Choosing polyurea was part of our promise to deliver results that last.
